Yorkshire Dales Accommodation
Although currently we do not provide accommodation on site, The Yorkshrie Dales has a wealth of accommodation on offer. Listed here are some suggestions for finding accommodation to suit most budgets from Country Houses to Bunk Barns to Camp sites all close to the Leyburn area and our training grounds. In the Yorkshire Dales district accommodation can actually be found from £15.00 per night including breakfast! For thoses of you who love the great out doors camping is available only 4 miles from our training centre for £12 per night and Bunk Barns from around £7 per night.
Leyburn Market Town is situated five miles from our training
centre and has several shopping and accommodation facilities;
Shops, 2 Supermarkets, Pubs, Restaurants, B&Bs, Cafe's, Banks,
Petrol Station and Tourist Railway Station (steam train rides).
Leyburn is also the gateway to the stunning Yorkshire Dales
National Park with a wealth of tourist and outdoor leisure facilities.
Leyburn also hosts many events taking place throughout the year.
Catterick Garrison is around 10 minutes drive from our training
centre and has many more facilities there including; large
swimming & leisure centre, restarants, Hotels and shopping
Service Leavers may also wish to explore the possibility of transit
accommodation on site at Catterick Garrison (only 15 minutes
drive from Arb For Training). If attending one of our Help for Heroes
courses accommodation and meals can be provided at Phoenix
House Catterick. If you are a Service Leaver or Veteran please

16th Century Inn on the banks of the River Cover. The inn is located on the main road (in a rural area) near our training facilites and around 4 miles from Leyburn town centre.

Black Swan hotel

The Black Swan Hotel is a traditional country Inn, nestled in heart of the Yorkshire Dales in the picturesque tourist town of Leyburn (gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park). Several of our clients have stayed at this Hotel and have given it a good review. The Hotel boasts: "Serving traditional, hearty, homecooked pub grub. We offer local ales, we have 7 en-suite bedrooms within a warm, friendly family atmosphere and we are located right in the centre of Leyburn Market place."

YHA Grinton Lodge

The building is an impressive looking former gentleman's shooting Lodge. The Lodge details accommodation ranging from Hostel to Private Bedrooms (including honeymoon suit!) and boasts a spacious lounge and TV lounge with open fire. Several of our clients have stayed at Grinton Lodge and said: "It offers good food, good facilities, good drying room and hospitable staff." Many of our clients have returned time and again and stayed at the Grinton Lodge. The Grinton Lodge Hostel can cater for up to 81 people. They serve hot & cold breakfast, lunch (packed lunch) and also have a Restaurant. The Lodge aslo offers Camping as well as Camping Pods and the Lodge also has a license to sell alcohol. Grinton Lodge Camping
Grinton Lodge also has a campsite with views over Swaledale and the village of Reeth, and all the facilities you would expect from a campsite including the use of the self-catering kitchen in the Youth Hostel.

We have received excellent feeback about Grinton Lodge from our clients who have stayed there and said that a bed for the night, large breakfast and three course evening dinner cost them around £25 per night!
